Paul Cunningham is the Department of Veterans Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Information Security and a noted leader within Federal Cybersecurity community. During his 10 years of federal service, he has held numerous senior positions including Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Energy (DOE); Executive Director of Cybersecurity for the Center of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS); and the Lead on the High-Value Asset Working Group for Office of Management and Budget (OMB). He is also a retired Naval Officer and Naval Aviator.
