Ross heads up corporate social compliance and regulatory compliance for L.L.Bean. Being both a lawyer and leading factory social and environmental oversight, he has insight on global issues impacting supply chains, products, advertising, sustainability and other topics.
Ross’ CSR team is based in four countries in three continents, handling almost 300 in-scope factories. L.L.Bean does about 75 percent of its own audits. The other 25 percent are from the SLCP, shared audits with other brands and third-party.
Since the start of COVID, L.L.Bean has gone to remote audits for social compliance, environmental and COVID-related inspections.
