Scott was one of the original employees of Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) the leading provider of fuel price benchmarks - virtually every gallon of gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel that is bought or sold in the U.S. does so at some point on an OPIS price. In addition to running the client services division of OPIS, Scott taught the "Winning Fuel Buying Strategies" class that more than 1500 executives throughout the U.S. attended. Scott is an expert not only in the purchase / sale of physical fuel, but he's also very familiar with risk management, or "hedging" concepts that can be employed to offset volatility in fuel prices.
