Munir has been involved in the apparel and textile industry since 1987. Currently, he's the Chairman of Synergies Worldwide and M5 Groupe, a newly formed platform involved in various DTC supply chain verticals and investments in the sustainable raw material space.
Munir is an active member of the American Apparel and Footwear Association, focusing on sourcing and credit insurance issues.
Munir co-founded Sourcing Journal and Cyclo Sustainable Fibers.
He has an MBA from Olin School of Business at Washington University, where he also serves on the National Council Board.
Munir is an active YPO member and serves on the regional board.
