Nicolette Janke is a Sequencing and Informatics Specialist at Illumina. As a specialist she works as a domain expert to consultatively evangelize and empower sequencing end-to-end solutions in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys the ever evolving dynamics within precision medicine, biotech, and academic customer base and leads with a customer-centric approach to problem solving. Prior to Illumina, Nicolette completed her graduate studies in microbial genetics and genomics from Northern Arizona University and later studied the evolution, pathology and mechanism(s) of recent gene duplication and DNA transposition of the human genome at the University of Washington. Nicolette is deeply motivated by the pursuit that genomics can improve lives and the world around us and seeks progressive approaches to advance the field.
