Jenny Watson, CFCS, CFLE has been a family and consumer sciences educator for the past 23 years. She has taught life and career skills at both the middle and high school levels focusing on projects related to kindness efforts, anti-bullying, and school violence prevention. Watson also has served as a teacher educator at the university/college level while directing the preschool lab on campus. Watson was recognized as the 2018 National Teacher of the Year for family and consumer sciences. Jenny’s school has also been recognized by the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) as the national middle school program award winners for their programs, Financial Fitness, STOP the Violence, Stand Up, and Career Connection.
