Ron Lumbra is managing partner of Heidrick & Struggles’ Centers of Excellence and a partner in the CEO & Board Practice. Previously, Lumbra served as regional leader of the firm’s Americas region. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, he spent 17 years with a global search firm where he was managing director and coleader of that firm’s Americas CEO and board services practice. He also served as cohead of its Americas operations and head of its New York and Houston offices. Earlier in his career, Ron served as regional vice president at Amoco Corp.’s Latin America Power Resources business. Previously, he was vice president for the Americas at The AES Corp. and principal with the Trammell Crow Co. Lumbra is vice chair of the board of trustees for the University of Vermont and a director of KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit dedicated to creating play spaces for children.
