Farrah Pepper is the Chief Legal Innovation Counsel (CLIC) at Marsh & McLennan, where she makes things…click. Farrah created and leads the company’s Legal Innovation & Technology (LIT) team, including the LIT innovation lab and the legal data discovery program.

Farrah has a long history of building and leading in-house and law firm teams to solve business challenges, create enterprise value and reduce risk. Previously, Farrah was GE’s global discovery counsel, where she served as the large, diverse conglomerate’s first dedicated legal expert on discovery strategy and policy, as well as the creator and leader of the GE Discovery Center of Excellence. Prior to joining GE, Farrah was a litigator in the New York office of Gibson Dunn, where she was a founder and leader of the firm’s global electronic discovery practice group.

In 2020, Farrah has been named an Innovation Award recipient by the New York Law Journal, a Fastcase 50 winner and an ABA Women of Legal Tech inductee. Previous accolades include being named a Thought Leader by Corporate Counsel (Women, Influence & Power), a member of the Law500 GC Powerlist (US), a fellow in the College of Law Practice Management (COLPM), a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal, a four-time Top eDiscovery Counsel by First Chair, an Emerging Leader by DiversityMBA Magazine, the 4th Annual Monica Bay STEM Leader and a Hero of Simplification by GE’s CEO. Under her leadership, Farrah’s teams received recognition such as the Analytics 50, Corporate E-Discovery Hero, Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Value Champion and an LTN Innovation Award.
