Bonny Simi is president of JetBlue Technology Ventures. Previously, Simi was the vice president of talent for the airline. Simi has been in leadership roles at JetBlue Airways in various capacities since 2003. She began her career in travel and hospitality with United Airlines, where she was the captain of aircraft flying domestically and internationally. She remains qualified as an airline captain for JetBlue Airways. Simi has been active with the United States Olympic Committee and Olympic sports in a variety of roles since 1984—as a competitor, as an expert commentator, and as a member of the US Olympic Committee board of directors and executive committee. Simi is a board director at Red Lion Hotels Corp. and a trustee of the Pebblebrook Hotel Trust. She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and was named to the NACD Directorship 100 in 2019.
