Vanessa C. L. Chang is a former principal in EL & EL Investments, a real estate investment and corporate finance advisory business. Chang was the founder and CEO of ResolveItNow, an online dispute-resolution business serving property and casualty insurers, and senior vice president at Secured Capital Corp, a real estate investment bank. Chang was with KPMG LLP for more than 20 years and served as partner in charge of its West Coast Corporate Finance Group. Chang is a board member of Edison International and its wholly owned subsidiary, Southern California Edison Co.; Transocean Ltd.; nine funds of the American Funds family, advised by Capital Research and Management Co.; seven funds advised by Capital Group Private Client Services, where she serves as the funds’ independent chair; and Sykes Enterprises.
