Kathryn Swintek is a managing partner and member of the investment committee of Golden Seeds Fund 2, which invests in US-based, early-stage companies founded and managed by women in the health care, technology, SaaS, and consumer/e-commerce sectors. Swintek is also a managing director of the leading angel investment group, Golden Seeds. She is the lead instructor for its Knowledge Institute’s course on “Due Diligence” and serves as co-lead instructor for “Deal Advisors.” Previously, Swintek was a senior executive in investment banking at the leading global banking firm BNP Paribas. Earlier she was an executive at BNY Mellon and its predecessor bank, Irving Trust Company. She currently serves as a director of Turtle & Hughes Inc. (chair, audit committee), Open Road Integrated Media Inc., Oculogica Inc., and as chair of the board of American Bank of Investments. In 2020, NACD named her as Private Company Director of the Year.
