Mary Robinette Kowal is the author of “The Calculating Stars,” one of only 18 novels to receive the Hugo, Nebula and Locus awards in the same year. Her new novel is “The Relentless Moon: A Lady Astronaut Novel” (Tor), part of the Lady Astronaut trilogy, which includes “The Calculating Stars” and “The Fated Sky.” She is a contributor to the award-winning podcast “Writing Excuses,” and her stories have appeared in Strange Horizons, Asimov’s, several Year’s Best anthologies and many other publications. Kowal is also a puppeteer and voice actor and has performed for Jim Henson Pictures.
