Matthew DiGuiseppe is a vice president on the Asset Stewardship Team of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA). DiGuiseppe and his colleagues on the Asset Stewardship Team are responsible for developing and implementing SSGA's global proxy voting policies and guidelines across all investment strategies and managing SSGA's proxy voting activities and issuer engagement on environmental, social, and governance issues. DiGuiseppe is a member of the State Street Global Advisors Global Proxy Review Committee. He is chair of the Investor Stewardship Group and the Council of Institutional Investors’ Corporate Governance Advisory Council. Prior to joining SSGA, DiGuiseppe served as a vice president on the Nuveen (formerly TIAA) Stewardship & Corporate Governance Team, and as a client relations manager for Institutional Shareholder Services.
