Meet The Presenters

Ann Stanley

Founder and CTO of Anicca Digital

Ann Stanley’s diverse career spans science, medical research, and manufacturing, leading to her first role in digital marketing in 2002. She is the Founder and CTO of Anicca Digital, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Leicester. Since establishing Anicca in 2007, Ann has led its evolution into a leading agency known for data-driven ecommerce and digital marketing for established brands.

Currently, Ann is spearheading Anicca's strategic pivot towards AI and automation. She is studying AI strategy and solutions while authoring her third book, "The C-10 AI Adoption Framework," which guides businesses through adopting and integrating AI. Ann leads consultancy projects focusing on AI-powered marketing strategies, automation solutions, and skills development.

Through the Anicca Academy, she has trained around 1,000 marketers since 2022 and actively develops AI skills programs, which will be launched this summer.

Ann is also a sought-after speaker at conferences like CIM and InOrbit, regularly sharing insights on AI’s transformative role in marketing.
Darren Wynn

Managing Director

Darren Wynn's journey with Anicca Digital began in 2010 after completing his marketing degree at Leicester University in 2009. Starting in paid media, Darren quickly demonstrated his analytical mind and strategic thinking, progressing through various roles including Head of Paid Media before transitioning into business management as Operations Director.

Promoted to Managing Director five years ago, Darren now leads all internal operations and chairs the leadership team alongside Founder Ann Stanley. His comprehensive understanding of the agency, gained through nearly 15 years across multiple departments, gives him unique insight into every aspect of the business.

Currently, Darren is at the forefront of Anicca's AI and automation revolution. Over the past two years, he has dedicated significant time to learning AI automation technologies and has successfully automated many of Anicca's internal processes. He regularly speaks at the company's webinars on AI topics and is working closely with Ann to establish the new AI & Automation service division for clients.

In addition to his operational leadership, Darren teaches strategy through the Anicca Academy, sharing his expertise with the 1,000+ marketers trained since 2022.
James Allen

Senior SEO & Analytics Specialist

I have over 15 years' experience in SEO, and I also do a lot of Analytics work (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager etc). I am a writer for Search Engine land and have also appeared as a host on several SEO workshops.

I am a regular trainer on the Anicca Bootcamps and speaker at our weekly webinars. I recently presented my first live talk, at the EPIC Ecommerce Conference

I also dabble in AI via Python and have recently taken a proactive role in developing the AI Automation for Anicca's AI Agent Marketplace, I am rapidly learning how to use N8N and other AI tools.
