Vice President, Homeland Security Division, ManTech
Dan Smith is Vice President of ManTech’s Homeland Security Division, where he leads strategic positioning and growth, program execution, and customer relations to support critical mission spaces across multiple DHS Components and Federal Civilian agencies.
He has been designing and integrating enterprise IT solutions for the public sector for 20 years, and is primarily focused on cybersecurity, analytics, cloud computing, and modernizing IT operations. His extensive experience drives his success in supporting customers’ complex IT needs, resulting in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies for the government.
While at ManTech, Mr. Smith has worked as vice president and division manager of the Cybersecurity Solutions Division and as the executive director and architect responsible for ManTech’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Task Orders, supporting and improving the cybersecurity posture of agencies in Groups A, E, and F.
Prior to ManTech, Mr. Smith held several roles in senior leadership and engineering management, including Vice President of Technology, at Govplace, and several roles at GTSI Corp.
