Jenni Retourné
Founder, Willowberry
Jenni Retourné has worked in the beauty industry for 15 years, previously within journalism and marketing before launching her own natural skincare brand Willowberry, in 2017.

Starting her career at trade magazine Pure Beauty, Jenni was made Editor at the age of 23 and was instrumental in the eventual sale of the magazine. She went on to launch her own marketing company for beauty brands, which she ran successfully for 7 years. During this time, Jenni pioneered beauty blog PR campaigns back in 2010, when blogging and vlogging were in their infancy.

Willowberry was born from a desire to create a skincare brand with every product a hero and nothing created for the sake of it. Products that combine amazing natural ingredients with amazing efficacy – no trade-off. Willowberry de-codes all ingredients (not just the fancy ones), from the belief that we shouldn't need a chemistry degree to be able to understand an ingredients list. Jenni is also passionate about using her brand platform to help support women’s self-esteem.

In less than 3 years since launch, Willowberry has been given the stamp of approval from top make-up artists and facialists, been featured by top press, bloggers, vloggers and influencers, been shortlisted for Next British Beauty Brand by the British Beauty Council, won a Beauty Shortlist Editor’s Choice Award and been highly rated by the Good Housekeeping Institute.
