Glenn Hubbard is dean emeritus, director of the Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business, and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. Hubbard was deputy assistant secretary for tax policy at the US Treasury Department from 1991 to 1993 and chaired the US Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) from February 2001 until March 2003. While serving as CEA chair, he also chaired the economic policy committee of the OECD. Hubbard is the author of three popular textbooks and his commentaries appear in Business Week, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Washington Post, Nikkei, and the Daily Yomiuri, as well as on television and radio. Hubbard chairs the board of MetLife and is a director of ADP and BlackRock Fixed Income Funds. Hubbard is cochair of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation.
