Sam Lurye is the Founder and CEO of Kargo, a supply chain visibility startup.
In October 2019, Sam founded Kargo with a vision to build the universal data layer between the physical world of freight and the digital ecosystem that manages it.
After dropping out of Stanford, Sam began a tour of warehouses and distribution centers across the country. In his conversations with everyone from warehouse workers to senior industrial leaders, it became clear that the digitization of the supply chain hinged on creating a unified, scalable sensing network that provided a single source of truth.
Kargo leverages computer vision at the loading dock to automate the shipping and receiving process and gather real-time data across the entire supply chain.
