Jonathan Sullivan
CTO, NS1
As a teenager, Jon (Sully) managed to wire and deploy a 10base2 network in his mother’s house without her knowledge, so he could play the very first Counter-Strike beta from the comfort of his own room. In college at RPI he and his roommates designed and built a 100,000 volt taser-powered potato gun. When the timing belt went on his 1989 Toyota MR2 he decided to put an entirely different and better engine into it — and convert it to a manual transmission for good measure. Jon likes to pull things apart, see what makes them work, and put them back together again in new and improved ways. In the mid 2000s Jon led the New York hosting operations team for Voxel, through its acquisition by Internap (NASDAQ:INAP) in 2011. At Internap, Jon led a critical retooling of the company’s Sales Engineering organization. Today, Jon is responsible for the care and feeding of NS1’s platform and technology and for managing NS1’s amazing customer support.
