Regional Operating Officer – Asia Pacific & Middle East, Gensler
Ms Haiwen Luo is the Regional Operating Officer at Gensler, responsible for the overall operational leadership to empower the firm’s strategies and operations in the Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) region. As part of the core leadership team in Gensler, Ms Luo partners with the office leaders to maximise the firm’s financial performance and value creation across offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangalore, Bangkok, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. She heads the country teams in Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Marketing & Public Relations and Facilities to provide value-added services and optimize business growth in APME.
Prior to joining Gensler, Ms Luo has worked with Spark Architects in Shanghai, Hilti in Manchester, and Arthur Andersen in Shenzhen. She has more than 25 years of extensive experience in professional services, industry and Big 4 practices which allows her to integrate global knowledge of accounting and finance, and international business across three continents. She is a Fellow of the Associated of Chartered Certified Accountants, Member of the Chinese Institute Certified Public Accountants, and holds an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School in the UK.
