Stuart A. Taylor is a board director and a private investor and advisor. He launched The Taylor Group to invest in and develop small private companies in partnership with operators/entrepreneurs. Taylor spent 17 years on Wall Street at firms including Morgan Stanley, Bankers Trust, CIBC, and Bear Stearns. He is a board member of Ball Corp., where he is lead independent director, chairs the nominating/corporate governance committee, and sits on the compensation committee; Hillenbrand Co., where he chairs the mergers and acquisitions committee and serves on the human resources committee; and Wabash National Corp., where he sits on the audit and the compensation committees. He also serves on the boards of The Youth Guidance Agency and The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Taylor has been named to Black Enterprise Magazine’s list of the top 25 Blacks on Wall Street and to Crain’s Chicago Business: Crain’s Forty Under Forty (1998).
