In 2016, Hande Diltemiz moved to India as the regional country manager of production in India and Sri Lanka. She oversees building and developing a globally competitive production market, which is eligible to attract more export business to the region for sustainable growth. Prior to this role, Hande ran the first Sub-Saharan Africa production in Kenya and Ethiopia for H&M. She founded the first Africa sourcing/production hub office for H&M in Ethiopia as the regional country manager. She worked closely with the local government and the manufacturers in order to implement reforms in policies and legislation that would benefit the country’s development towards a globally sustainable and competitive platform. Earlier, Hande managed production in Bangladesh, Pakistan and across Africa for H&M.
