Andrea Bonime-Blanc is the CEO and founder of GEC Risk Advisory. She has held senior executive roles at Bertelsmann, PSEG, and Verint Systems and has held numerous board seats. In 2017, she was appointed ethics advisor to the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico. She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow, a member of the NACD governance faculty, holds the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight, and sits on the advisory boards of Crisp Thinking, Ethical Intelligence, and Greenward Partners. She was named the inaugural Directors and Chief Risk Officers Exemplar (2018). The Ethisphere Institute recognized her as among the 100 Most Influential in Business Ethics in both 2014 and 2015. She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, on the New York University cyber faculty, and has published widely. Her latest book is Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk Into Resilience and Value (2019).
