Martine Ferland is president and CEO of Mercer. She is also an executive for Mercer’s benefit technology business, Thomsons. Previously, Ferland was Mercer’s group president, and was responsible for leading Regions and Global Business Solutions. Prior to this, she was president of Mercer’s Europe and Pacific (EuroPac) Regions. Before joining Mercer, Martine spent 25 years with a leading HR consulting firm in the United States and Canada. During this time, she served in leadership positions overseeing businesses in North America and Asia, as well as serving as a director on the board of Towers Perrin. As one of Mercer’s most engaged leaders around diversity and charitable outreach, Ferland is the executive sponsor of Mercer’s global volunteering program, Mercer Cares. Ferland is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
