Ms. Kathleen McLaughlin is currently a Senior Scientist in the Downstream Process Development Group in BioProcess R&D at Merck & Co., Inc. located in Kenilworth, NJ. Ms. McLaughlin received her B.S in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Rochester, joining BioProcess R&D at Merck in 1998. During the last 24 years, she has contributed to various discovery, early and late-stage processes, and supported process characterization for monoclonal antibodies including successful commercial process development of Keytruda. Her current work involves process development for various downstream purification steps for continuous manufacturing of a monoclonal antibody.
