For nearly 30 years, Jason has dedicated his career to increasing access to capital for underserved individuals and communities. After helping to create a more inclusive economic development strategy for New York State, Jason led a statewide small business CDC in Iowa that received a Presidential Award for its work with women on public assistance. He later advanced best practices in micro and small business lending as the Director of Training and Education for the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO). Jason built a consulting division for an inner city CDFI in Baltimore before co-founding F|A in 2007. From working with the National Urban League to create a national CDFI to designing BIPOC initiatives for community foundations, to working with 'startup' visionaries, he has the largest team of the highly respected CDFI industry consultants in the country.
