Brian Deck is a Bioprocess Upstream Processing and Cell Line Development scientist with over 20 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience including Senior Scientist positions at Pfizer, Medimmune AstraZeneca, and Merck. He has contributed to the development of high throughput screening of transfectant pools and stable clones, establishment of increasingly more stable host lines, and creation and implementation of chemically defined feeds for fed batch production bioreactor processes. His current focus is process development and innovation surrounding continuous manufacturing (perfusion) media development, process characterization, and filtration.
