Nitin Gupta is the founder and CEO of Maavi Global, a N.Y.-based supply chain consultancy designed to make sourcing networks more accessible and efficient and for emerging global vendors to find ways to market themselves in the U.S. retail world. As a 29-year industry veteran, Nitin was instrumental in making Triburg the largest Indian-owned buying agency for the U.S. market, starting in 1993 and leaving as managing director in 2013. He was then managing director of Asmara International, USA operations, and traveled globally to understand how 12 countries handle their own manufacturing and supply chains. He was also president of Indochine USA, a subsidiary of a large China-based manufacturing group.
