Kevin Graber
Deputy CISO, FDIC
Kevin Graber serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Mr. Graber is an accomplished professional with over twenty four years of experience in critical IT disciplines as well as leadership roles at the strategic, managerial, and supervisory levels within the federal government and private sector
Mr. Graber has recently joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer.
As the Chief Information Security Officer for the United States Secret Service. Mr. Graber was responsible for leading the agency’s risk management program. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of information security to include security operations, incident response as well as information assurance and account management. In concert with other executive leaders across the agency, Mr. Graber lead the transformation of business processes in the areas of secure application development, identity and account management, operations and sustainment, supported by the implementation of best practices in governance.
Mr. Graber also served as Deputy Director for the Data Center Division at the Department of Homeland Security. In this roles he was responsible for information technology program management of the DHS enterprise data center resources to include facilitating and supporting the department’s utilization of cloud services providers. The facilities within the Data Center Division continue to host systems that contribute to the diverse missions of DHS component agencies to include FEMA, CBP, TSA, ICE, and CIS. Mr. Graber was responsible for the execution of the Data Center Division’s 500 million dollar annual program which provided oversight, support, and coordination of activities necessary to achieve resilient IT infrastructure services.
Prior to serving as the Deputy Director for the Data Center Division, Mr. Graber served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for DHS Headquarters. In this role he was responsible the security of over 70 enterprise class systems that formed the backbone of the Department-wide information technology infrastructure. To better support the Department, Mr. Graber developed and implemented an innovative managed compliance services contract. The Managed Compliance Services contract continues to provide, industry leading, consumption based security services to its customers at a highly competitive price.
