Christine Channels
Head of Community Banking & Client Protection, Bank of America
Christine Channels is the Chief Operating Officer for Consumer & Small Business. She is responsible for leading programs that include Anti‐Money Laundering, complaints, strategic execution, Military Banking Overseas Division, Veteran Affairs and Operational Excellence in support of the 64,000 employees in Consumer & Small Business. Additionally, she oversees governance of the third party program, regulatory and exam management, risk management and quality assurance.

Christine and her leadership team are responsible for designing and implementing programs across Consumer & Small Business to drive responsible growth, deliver client care and foster a strong risk culture in an operationally sound environment.

Christine joined the company in 2002 and has held various leadership roles within Consumer as well as Compliance, Quality & Productivity and Global Technology & Operations.

She serves on the board of the American Red Cross and on the board of the Consumer Bankers Association. She also actively supports Junior Achievement devoting time to volunteer in local schools.

Christine graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and their two daughters.
