Starting his career at Shell, he has more than 20 years of experience supporting engagements across the M&A lifecycle. He serves as a trusted advisor to senior client executive teams and boards of directors on their ability to grow, divest and fundamentally change the nature of their business and competitive position in a dynamic market full of change and disruption. His expertise and experience spans M&A strategy, target screening, operational diligence, integration and divestiture planning and execution. Thomas leads Deloitte’s M&A practice where he has P&L responsibility and sets the firm’s view on M&A’s strategy and execution nationally. Moreover, he sits on the firm’s management committee that drives the key decisions of the consulting business.
