Cynthia M. Shelton
Vice President, Programs, National Security Group, SAIC
Cynthia M. Shelton serves as the Vice President, Programs within Science Applications International Corporation’s (SAIC’s) National Intelligence Community (NIC) Operation. She leads the company’s United States Government (USG) Division.
She has over three decades of experience within the Intelligence Community and nearly two decades of combined service in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves as an intelligence officer.
Before SAIC, Cynthia held the roles of Senior Director of Special Programs Sales for CenturyLink’s Strategic Government segment, Line of Business Vice President in the Cybersecurity Division within General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and VP, Operations Manager at SAIC. She also worked as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a member of the technical staff at GTE.
Cynthia is a member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). She is a former Executive Committee member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC).
She holds a Bachelor’s of Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master’s of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, formerly the Defense Intelligence College.
Cynthia is a 2018 Federal News Weekly, FED 100 winner, and a 2013 recipient of the Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) Pioneer Award.
