Lisa O’Connor is the global leader of Security Research and Development for Accenture, leading two Labs: one in Washington, DC, and one in Herzliya, Israel. O’Connor has been with Accenture for seven years, joining the Lab after leading security consulting for Accenture’s Financial Services North America. She has over 31 years of information security experience, with more than 16 years focused in financial services and more than seven years as an active member of the Financial Services Sharing and Analysis Center and the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council. Her experience includes leading Information Security Governance at Fannie Mae (five years); leading national security consulting practices (seven years) at Predictive Systems (INS); Guardent (VeriSign); PricewaterhouseCoopers (four years); and the National Security Agency (nine years). Her work at the National Security Agency included assignments to the White House Communications Agency and to the Surveys and Investigations Staff of the House Appropriations Committee.
