Having taught Kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades, Emily brings her 14 years of experience as a former educator to her role of Education Consultant for SAM Labs. She received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, graduating with High Distinction at Northern Arizona University. Emily has worked with students of all needs and backgrounds and understands the importance of active engagement to retain new information. Her experiences teaching at Title I includes training fellow staff members in integrating STEAM across content areas to help truly prepare our students for their future careers. She is thrilled to share how SAM Labs can be integrated with core instruction and implemented across grade levels to promote computational thinking and bring coding to life!
