Hope L. Mason is a leader in public-health administration with more than four decades of experience. Throughout her career, she has been driven by an imperative of activism and advocacy for underserved communities within New York City, in an effort to ensure that quality health care is a right accessible to all. She currently sits on the boards of two nonprofit health-care organizations: Ryan Health, a federally qualified network of community health clinics in Manhattan, and One Brooklyn Health System, an integrated network of hospitals, clinics, and long-term health facilities in central Brooklyn. At Ryan, she has served as the chair of the quality improvement committee since 2015. At One Brooklyn, she serves on several committees, working with the other members to implement a $664 million plan to streamline services and upgrade infrastructure and technology. Mason is both an NACD Governance Fellow and an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
