Kim Box is an independent director serving two public boards: McGrath RentCorp (a diversified business-to-business rental company), where she serves on the nominating/governance committee and the compensation committee; and American River Bank (a community business bank), where she chairs the finance and capital committee and serves on the audit committee. Box is also on the board of Applied Science Inc., a medical technology company providing blood collection technologies. She chairs the board of the NACD Northern California Chapter and serves on the advisory board of the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University, Sacramento. Box is the former president and CEO of Gatekeeper Innovation Inc., a medical device company that provides innovative solutions for securing prescription medications. She also served as a vice president of HP. She is an international speaker and author of Woven Leadership: The Power of Diversity to Transform your Organization to Success (2011).
