Ronnie Hagerty is AVP, Community Relations and Talent Management, for the United Way of Greater Houston. Previously, Hagerty coordinated development communications for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Earlier in her career, Hagerty was a consultant with advertising and marketing firms. She is a lecturer at the Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University and an adjunct professor at the Jones Graduate School of Business, Rice University. Hagerty is immediate past chair of the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals/AFP/Houston Chapter, and was appointed by the State of Texas to the board of the OneStar National Service Commission, where she serves as chair. She is a member of the boards of The Rose and The Junior League of Houston. Hagerty has been honored with the AFP M. Anne Murphy Award for Professional Advancement, the PRSA Excalibur Award and the Houston Young Lawyers Association’s Liberty Bell Award.
