Timothy C. Barabe is a board member of Selecta, a publicly traded biotech company (where he chairs the audit committee); Veeva Systems, a life sciences cloud-based software company (where he chairs the nominating and governance committee and serves on the audit committee); and Vigilant Biosciences, a medical device company. Barabe has 30 years of international experience in large and small companies, including eight years in Europe (Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom). Over the course of his career, Barabe has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Affymetrix; chief financial officer of Human Genome Sciences Inc.; chief financial officer of Regent Medical Ltd., in Manchester, England; and chief financial officer of Sandoz Generics (a unit of Novartis AG) in Vienna, Austria, as well as serving in other executive roles.
