Felicia Thornton was the interim CEO of 99 Cents Only Stores from 2019 to 2020, and she was the company’s CFO and treasurer from 2015 to 2018. Thornton has also served as co-CEO, president, and COO of DeMoulas Super Markets Inc.; as CEO of Knowledge Universe US; as CFO for Albertsons; and in a variety of executive strategic and financial roles for Ralphs Grocery Co. and Fred Meyer, both of which became part of The Kroger Co., where Thornton was group vice president. Thornton has been the vice chair of 99 Cents Only Stores since February 2018. She also serves on the board of Floor & Décor, chairing the nominating and corporate governance committee; Pactiv Evergreen, chairing the audit committee; Convergint Technologies, chairing the audit committee; and CoolSys, where she also chairs the audit committee. She has been a panelist at global conferences. Thornton is a member of NACD affinity partner, the Latino Corporate Directors Association, and.an NACD Fellow.
