Rory Byrne

Rory is responsible for Imagination's Immersive Technology development and business strategy. He is also a member of the UK Government, Department of Media, Culture and Sports: UK5G Creative Industries Group.

Rory has extensive experience across emerging, experiential and immersive technologies: 5G application, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Experience Technology (ET).

He has worked both agency and production/studio side across immersive and emerging technology, allowing unique insight into both the production and business use for the technology. Rory has over nine years’ experience in defining, developing, articulating and proving-out transformational projects.

His approach is driven by clear customer needs, challenges, and business rationale. Rory has worked with some of the world's most progressive clients including; Google, Samsung, Ford, Nike, Ericsson, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, Telefonica and Vodafone.
