Wanja Murekio is currently a Senior Program Manager at Safaricom PLC, a telecommunications company in Nairobi, Kenya. She has been involved in projects at Safaricom PLC for the last 7 years.
In her current role, she is a portfolio manager for the Financial Services Division. This involves driving value delivery of all M-PESA programs and projects assigned, together with her team of Program and Project Managers.
Wanja Murekio also has experience in Business Process Management, Quality Assurance Management and Customer Experience Management. She is currently serving as a volunteer member of the PMI Standards Consensus Committee. She is also a 2020 PMI Future50 Honoree.
