SAME Environmental COI Webinar: Solving Complex CVOC Problems with ISTR-- Field Proven Approaches

About This Webinar

This webinar will first discuss the unique aspects of performance-based designs when considering procurement of thermal remediation services. Next, we will discuss how to evaluate criteria when selecting performance objectives, i.e., “ how do you define success?” Results from recent In Situ Thermal Remediation (ISTR) case studies at Federally led sites will be shared.

These case studies will:
(1) Demonstrate common data gaps and changes to the conceptual site model that are critical to ISTR design.
(2) Provide examples of Pre-Remediation Investigations.
(3) Tie pre-remedial investigation outcomes to changes in the ISTR design approach.
(4) Present examples of combined heating technologies, when and why they were needed.
(5) Provide examples of how performance objectives and “lines of evidence” were used to evaluate success and system shutdown.

This webinar carries 1 PDH credit.
