SAME ECOI Webinar: How NAOC Powers and Facilitates the Next Era of Munitions Response

About This Webinar

This webinar introduces attendees to the National Association of Ordnance Contractors (NAOC)—a nationally recognized organization representing companies engaged in all aspects of military munitions response. NAOC advocates for efficient, high quality project execution and promotes safety for both the workforce and the public, while serving as a central forum for government–industry collaboration across the munitions response community.

The session begins with an overview of NAOC’s mission, membership, and role in shaping industry standards, followed by a focused update on two of the organizations technical bodies: the Technology Committee and the Operations & Standards Committee. The Technology Committee advances research, development, and transition of innovative tools and methods. The Operations & Standards Committee advises government agencies on issues related to personnel, safety, training, and technology. This webinar will also summarize recent committee activities and emerging developments, including qualification requirements, roles and responsibilities, inspection protocols, and Activity Hazard Analysis expectations. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of NAOC’s organizational structure, its role in shaping the munitions response landscape, and the latest technical and operational insights emerging from its committees—positioning them to better engage with ongoing industry advancements and regulatory changes.
