This includes the process of evaluating a jobsite for a microgrid, detailed design requirements, design elements that should be left for suppliers, factory testing requirements, site acceptance testing requirements, and a proven project execution process that delivers quality solutions and delights customers.

The discussion will also cover technology requirements, interactions with utilities, control strategies, standard adherence, cyber-security, and equipment protection. Proper timing and use of subject matter experts in the life-cycle of a microgrid development and practices that deliver the highest customer value through cost reduction and performance improvement will be explained.
