TME Presents: Partnering to Success

About This Webinar

You've read the article; now learn the rest of the story. Take a deeper look into "Partnering for Success," published in the Nov-Dec 2021 issue of TME.

To remedy its 1970s-era infrastructure, Fort Jackson contracted with USACE Charleston District to administer the design and construction of an improvement program. Part of this program included the design of a multi-facility reception complex that included reception processing center, a medical and dental clinic, barracks for 300 enlistees, an optical fabrication laboratory, a telecommunications building, and physical training track. In delivering this project, the team needed to navigate a reprogrammed project scope, late-stage design changes, and LEED certification requirements. To do so, they leveraged strong and effective partnering between the design team and a long list of stakeholders.
