In the face of extreme weather events such as Hurricane Florence that caused catastrophic damage to more than 800 facilities and over $2 billion in unbudgeted repairs to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NAVFAC is institutionalizing modifications to current design standards or construction practices through updates to Unified Facilities Criteria. This panel discussion, featuring Rear Adm.
