SAME HETF: Geospatial Intelligence for Water Flow Forecasting

About This Webinar

Understanding flood risks has the potential to significantly improve situational awareness and impact assessment for operational military planners and increase threat response capabilities. This webinar features a discussion by VeriDaaS Corporation, a geospatial intelligence company, on its proprietary HydrologiX platform and how it predicts water quantity and flood risk factors within a watershed. HydrologiX is based on the use of various local and regional geospatial data such as LiDAR-based measurements, water level and precipitation measurements, and point source pollution areas to predict potential threats in the watershed and enable appropriate health protection measures such as mosquito and vector-disease control.

• Expand awareness on how a watershed's physical hydrological features can support a watershed flood forecasting platform using available local data.
• Inform SAME participants of the value of Geo intelligence with regards to environmental health such as mosquito abatement
• Provide information on how the platform is a scalable solution that includes automation, notification, and visualization to gain insightful mitigation response.
• Educate SAME participants on HydrologiX platform that will ingest best available data to help support mitigation, emergency response, and planning.
• Bring awareness related to the impacts extreme weather and climate change can have on hydrological disturbances.
