Dr. Holladay will be presenting an overview of the Department of Energy Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Office (HFTO) goals, past R&D direction and Dr. Holladay’s view of the DOE’s future direction. HFTO’s congressional mandate is for sustainable transportation and so this presentation will primarily focus on this application with some discussion on hydrogen for energy storage. He will then proceed with an overview of PNNL’s work supporting the Hydrogen Infrastructure highlighting current projects and capabilities.

Jamie Holladay is the Chemical and Biological Processing Group Lead, Chief Engineer and Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) sub-sector lead at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He joined PNNL in 2000 working on thermochemical and electrochemical hydrogen production as well as hydrogen infrastructure. He will present a brief overview of the DOE HFTO research and development program and PNNL’s work on hydrogen infrastructure and safety.
