The Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations is the single real manager for U.S. governmental diplomatic and consular property overseas and sets worldwide priorities for the planning, acquisition, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and disposal of overseas property. This webinar will provide an overview of OBO and in-depth review of several project case studies that highlight the recent work of OBO, the challenges related to working abroad, and the many opportunities available to support the work of OBO and their mission to provide effective facilities in support of U.S. diplomacy. She managed new embassy projects in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Windhoek, Namibia; Mérida, MX; and Lilongwe, Malawi and currently serves a dual role as acting division chief for projects in the Western Hemisphere.
