This demo covers the entire V development cycle for a vehicle, starting from requirements and ending with deployed safety-critical software. The vehicle is a hybrid-electric vehicle (HEV). Here, architectures are designed using System Composer, and software components are implemented in Simulink using Stateflow and Control System Toolbox. Finally, the physical components are modeled using Powertrain Blockset, Simscape, and Simscape Electrical. Code is deployed with Embedded Coder or AUTOSAR ,Blockset depending on the preferred architecture and target audience.
A nested battery management system model encompasses requirements linking, testing, coverage, checks, and static model verification. The software architecture is implemented using both System Composer and AUTOSAR Blockset. This approach enables us to showcase the entire workflow addressing the ISO 26262 automotive safety standard.
